SKILLS: Sequencing Concentration
In Chronology, there are 480 cards, each recalling an event and its date. The events cover, history, the arts, sport, entertainment, inventions and discoveries. The secret of this clever game is that you don't need to have precise date knowledge to win - all you have to do is to put ten events into the right order. For example, you might not know the exact date that Leonardo Da Vinci painted the Mona Lisa, but you should know that this took place before the date of the first bungee jump. However, it's not always that easy - did men start wearing shorts at Wimbledon before or after the invention of air conditioning? The idea is to get ten event cards in the right order, being careful not to risk losing the cards that you have already correctly placed!
