SKILLS: Literacy Skills Strategic Planning
Dicewords is a point-scoring word game. In turn, players roll the nine dice up to a total of three times, keeping the dice they wish to use each time, and aiming to add to those to make the highest scoring word possible. An important aspect of the game is to know what letters can be achieved by re-rolling certain dice, and to that end, players also receive a chart indicating what is on each die. This is a well thought out and skilful word game, which is extremely enjoyable and highly effective.
