BLOKUS DUO
Skills: Strategic Planning Spatial Awareness
Ideal for Classroom! Each player selects a colour and places their pieces on the board. However, each new piece must touch at least one other piece of the same colour - but only at the corners. Whilst the aim is to cover as much of the board as possible with your own pieces, you must try and block out your opponents at the same time! Simple to learn and great fun.

SET
Skills: Visual Perception Strategic Planning
An Outstanding Visual Perception Challenge! This genuinely may be the best game to come out for a generation! Each of the 81 cards has four features - it will display one of three different shapes, one of three different quantities of that shape, one of three different colours and one of three different types of shading. 12 cards are displayed and players compete to find a 'set' consisting of three cards where, for each of the four individual features, all three cards are exactly the same, or all are different. For example, in the three cards shown here, each shape and quantity of shape appears only once, as does each colour, and shading type. Therefore, these cards are a set. If two of the cards had, for example, been red and one green, then this would have stopped the cards from being a set. A powerful and hugely entertaining game, which, we warn you, is also highly addictive!

HUE KNEW?
Skills: Visual Perception Speed of Thought Concentration Fine Motor Skills
Match The Colour To The Word But Its Harder Than You Think! The question is
can you think straight? If you really can then youll do well at this fabulous fast-paced thinking game. The 40 wheel-cards contain nine colours printed as words, but not necessarily in the right colour! So the word Green might be printed in red, and so on. The challenge is to be the first person to identify the two colours on the wheel, out of the nine, that have actually been printed in the right colour
so in other words, you are looking for a Blue printed in blue and so on. Sounds easy? Unfortunately your mind is pulling you in two different directions at the same time. Confused? Trust us, you will be!

SNATCH
Skills: Literacy Skills Speed of Thought
Snatch Takes 30 Seconds To Learn, And You'll Play It For Years! Place the tiles face down and take turns to turn one over until a word can be made. If you see and say the word first, take it and put it in front of you, where it can be seen by all players. Keep turning the letters in turn, but watch out, because now you can make new words from the centre, and from your opponents words, by adding letters. So your C-A-T might become their C-A-R-T, which might become someone elses T-R-A-C-K. Play until all letters have been turned, and then start scoring - Longer words give more points. The player with the most points wins. Snatch is presented in a novel tube format and is a great family word game!
