| Product Information |
| The board contains two sets of coloured balls which are moved across the maze under the clear plastic cover using two 'pencils'. These 'pencils' have a magnet in their tip, but are held by the child using the same tripod grasp which they would use to hold a regular pencil. The magnet-tipped pencils are used to guide the balls through the maze from the start to the finish. Players must trace the line of the path, carrying the balls as they go, to reach the centre of the maze. The skills used to do this are similar to those used in writing and copying. However, unlike a real pencil or pen, a mistake in the Magna Maze will not leave any marks on a piece of paper. If the player leaves the line and drops the ball, they simply pick it up again and continue, building their self-confidence as they progress. Endorsed by specialists. |
