FAQ's

Q: How should the hall be set up?
A: This obviously depends on the hall. Usually, guests will be seated around trestle or round tables and we will also require a number of tables for the puzzles and the shop. We will also need access to the hall around 45 minutes prior to the start of the event in order to organise the puzzles.

Q: How much money should be raised through the evening?
A: This obviously depends on the costs of items such as hall hire and food. Most committees charge anywhere between £5 and £15 for a ticket. In our experience, an average evening, with 120 people makes a profit of between £600 and £1200, including the raffle, but this figure is sometimes much greater.

Q: What if guests have been to a 'Happy Puzzle Company' event before?
A: Please let us know if you are aware that many people will have seen one of our programmes before. The evening will be tailored accordingly

Can You Fit A Square Peg Into A Round Hole? The Ultimate Challenge Evening!

Up to 144 people (or 12 teams) take part in an extraordinary journey through some of the worlds most unusual two and three-dimensional puzzles and challenges.

The programme is divided into two sections.

In the first part, each team is presented with a near identical set of around 15 or more puzzles. These cover a wide range of puzzle types - from lateral thinking to shape and co-ordination puzzles. People simply have a go at whatever they like! It's a huge amount of fun and creates a wonderful atmosphere.

The second part of the programme is made up of team challenges. Teams must do their best with a series of rounds incorporating lateral thinking puzzles and giant team challenges.

At the end of the event, we will open our mobile puzzle shop, so that your guests are able to buy some of the puzzles that they will have enjoyed during the programme. We also have a large range of educational puzzles for children.
