Did you know?
Butterflies and moths belong to an order of insects called Lepidoptera. The Natural History Museum’s Lepidoptera collection is one of the oldest, largest and certainly the most type rich – with 125000 type specimens included. The collection contains 12.5 million pinned specimens and one million papered specimens housed in 80,000 drawers, and it includes specimens from all across the world. The Natural History Museum is a world-leading science centre and one of the UK’s favourite days out. We’re a source of curiosity, inspiration and joy for millions of people who visit us each year, as well as for nature lovers around the globe. We look after one of the world’s most important scientific collections: 80 million specimens spanning 4.5 billion years. Every day, we’re working to uncover its secrets, discovering Earth’s past to help us unlock a brighter future. Our 350 scientists are helping to find solutions to the planetary emergency, from protecting biodiversity to resourcing the green energy transition. We’re on a mission to build a movement of advocates for the planet.

Standard UK P&P is £3.95. Delivery is FREE for UK mainland orders over £60 (before delivery). As this item is made-to-order, unfortunately we are unable to offer next day delivery.

This jigsaw is made to order for you by hand. It’s a process which takes time, and which is completed in stages. Once the glue has been applied to your puzzle, it needs to be stored for a few days in a humidity-controlled environment, so that the glue can dry with the puzzle remaining in perfect condition. Only then can the puzzle be cut and packaged for you.

We therefore ask that you allow up to 14 days for your jigsaw to arrive (although generally it’s much quicker).
