Hello everyone and welcome to this month’s Happy Puzzle competition!
For those of you who are new to this, for 14 weeks over lockdown we had an absolute blast creating weekly puzzles which were being received by well over 50,000 people each week. We had thousands of entries and each week a winner was drawn at random from the correct entries. As the weeks passed by, the puzzles were getting more and more ambitious and in the end, Gavin had to concede that he did not have the time to produce a new one every week. So we decided to make it a monthly thing, with the puzzle coming out at 7pm on the first Tuesday of each month.
Here we go then!
Here is the 75th PUZZLE and there is a £25 Happy Puzzle voucher up for grabs! By the way, the answer for May’s puzzle and the name of the winner, can both be found at the bottom of the email.
Working Title?
Below are the names of 25 movies. All you need to do is to work out the year the films were released.
Now, that does seem pretty simple, but if have been doing the Happy Puzzle monthly competitions for some time you will know that there is always a bit of a twist.
Did you know that for reasons of secrecy, to stop media leaks, public attention whilst filming or simply because the decision has not been made yet, many movies have working titles. For example, Avatar which is the highest grossing movie of all time had a working title of Project 880.
Well... all the films below are named by their working titles, so you need to decode what each film is. Remember, if there have been remakes of the movies below, I am looking for the version that went by that working title.
To win the £25 Happy Puzzle voucher, you simply need to email me the year that had the most releases from the films listed below.

The competition closes at 11.59pm on Monday 30th June 2025. Both the answers and the winner will then be drawn at random and revealed in next month’s puzzle on Tuesday 1st July 2025! My decision will be final!

This one appears to be much tricker, and we have only had a handful of correct answer is Vlodymyr Zelenskyy who had served 2179 days and coincidently is the only serving leader.
So we do have a winner of the £25 voucher and that is Karen Smith.
