Hello everyone and welcome to this month’s Happy Puzzle competition!
For those of you who are new to this, for 14 weeks over lockdown we had an absolute blast creating weekly puzzles which were being received by well over 50,000 people each week. We had thousands of entries and each week a winner was drawn at random from the correct entries. As the weeks passed by, the puzzles were getting more and more ambitious and in the end, Gavin had to concede that he did not have the time to produce a new one every week. So we decided to make it a monthly thing, with the puzzle coming out at 7pm on the first Tuesday of each month.
Here we go then!
Here is the 91st PUZZLE and there is a £25 Happy Puzzle voucher up for grabs.
Inventions that have changed the world!
Having spent the weekend scrolling on the internet or watching TV, or calling my friends, i sometimes take for granted these miraculous inventions that we take for granted every day. And that is the theme of this months competition.
Below are the names of 30 world famous inventors. Each of them is shown in a coloured box. Further down you will find the names of 30 inventions, each in their own coloured box. The first thing you need to do is to match the inventor with the invention.
To win the £25 Happy Puzzle voucher, once you have matched the inventor and invention, you then need to mix the colours of the box that they appear in. For example if the inventor was in a Blue box and the Invention was in Yellow box, you have the colour green. These are the options that you might be left with.
All you need to do to win the competition is to tell me which colour from the list above appears the most. Please send your answer to me at josh@happypuzzle.co.uk, ensuring that you put NOVEMBER 2026 PUZZLE in the subject line.
The competition closes at 23.59 on Monday 30st November 2026. Both the answers and the winner will then be drawn at random and revealed in next month’s puzzle on Tuesday 1st December 2026! My decision will be final!
