Hello everyone and welcome to this month’s Happy Puzzle competition!
For those of you who are new to this, for 14 weeks over lockdown we had an absolute blast creating weekly puzzles which were being received by well over 50,000 people each week. We had thousands of entries and each week a winner was drawn at random from the correct entries. As the weeks passed by, the puzzles were getting more and more ambitious and in the end, Gavin had to concede that he did not have the time to produce a new one every week. So we decided to make it a monthly thing, with the puzzle coming out at 7pm on the first Tuesday of each month.
Here we go then!
Here is the 79th PUZZLE and there is a £25 Happy Puzzle voucher up for grabs.
Where Am I!
This year, we have really gone all out to source the best games for our Autumn/Winter range, and in doing so, we have visited a lot of suppliers and toy fairs, some of which have been abroad.
Visiting a number of these myself, what struck me as odd is how different all the international airports are and I thought that would make a good idea for this months competition.
Below are 20 postcards from our mystery travellers. Further down this email are 20 boarding passes. Each of the postcards is coloured in either Yellow, Red, Orange, Blue or Green. Each of the boarding passes is also coloured in Yellow, Red, Orange, Blue or Green. All you have to do is to work out which postcard goes with which boarding pass using the clues provided.
To win the £25 Happy Puzzle voucher, you need to tell me which CORRECT matching colour combination appears the most out of all the answers. For clarification Yellow and Red is the same as Red and Yellow, so when adding the total, remember that whatever way round the colours appear, still counts as the same answer.

The competition closes at 11.59pm on Sunday 30th November 2025. Both the answers and the winner will then be drawn at random and revealed in next month’s puzzle on Tuesday 2nd December 2025! My decision will be final!
Now back to October’s competition!
This seemed to be a really tricky one. Most people worked out that the link between them all was that they had all received OBE's, CBE's, MBE's, or a Knighthood, but only a handful of people could work out all the faces. The missing celebrity is none other than Dame Emma Thompson and you can see the completed wordsearch below. Why not take another look and see if you can spot her face!
